JAMB introduces a new USSD code for creation of profile for the 2024 JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE). See more details below.

As an aspiring student, you need to register for the forthcoming  JAMB UTME. In this article, we will show you the various ways to create your profile on the JAMB E-facility portal.

However it is important to think of your JAMB profile as your online identity in the Nigerian tertiary  education system. Your JAMB profile stores your personal information,  educational background, and exam results, making it easy for you to access your information at anytime.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) profile creation is crucial for the following:

• Registering for 2024 UTME and DE exams
• Checking your results
• Checking admission status
• Printing admission letters
• Making data corrections

There are three ways you can easily create a profile. Below is a step by step guide on how to create your profile even from the comfort of your home.

How to Create JAMB Profile Using USSD Code Method

To create your profile and register for the 2024 UTME, kindly send your National Identification Number (NIN) to 55019.

Example: Dial *55019*1*NIN# (Replace NIN with your NIN Number)

How to Create JAMB Profile Using SMS Method

Note that this service cost N50 only. Use your registered and active phone number for this request.

• Open your phone’s messaging app and compose a new message.
• Enter the number 55019. This is the JAMB registration code.
• Type NIN 00143433723 (replace with your NIN) in the message body.
• Send the message. You should receive a response from JAMB with a link to the registration portal.

How to Create JAMB Profile Using Online Method

Kindly follow the procedures below to successfully create an account using JAMB efacility portal.

1. Visit the JAMB E-Facility portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login
2. Click “Create an Account” and select “Create Jamb Profile Account.”
3. Fill in your email address and phone number, then click “Verify e-Mail.”
4. Check your inbox for a verification link and click on it to proceed
5. Fill out the personal information form carefully, including your name, date of birth, gender, and nationality.
6. Choose your password
7. Click “Register” to finalize your profile creation
