Master of Environmental Design (Full Time)

Programme Outline

Duration: This programme runs for 4 semesters

Entry requirements: The programme is open to candidates with:

(a) Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc., BES) in Architecture or its equivalent from the University of Lagos or any other recognised University with minimum of Second Class Lower Degree

(b) Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Design (PGDED) with Third Class degree in Architecture from the University of Lagos may be considered

To be eligible for the Master of Environmental Design (Full Time) at UNILAG, you need a Bachelor's honours degree in Architecture or a related design program from a recognized university, or a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Design (PGDED) from UNILAG or its equivalent. Additionally, you must meet the specific requirements of the Department of Architecture, which may include submitting a portfolio and attending an interview.
Specific admission requirements
- Bachelor's Degree: Hold a Bachelor's honours degree in Architecture or a related design-oriented program like Landscape Architecture or Urban Design, from the University of Lagos or another recognized university.
- Postgraduate Diploma: Hold a Postgraduate Degree Diploma in Environmental Design (PGDED) from the University of Lagos or its equivalent.
- Departmental Requirements:
  - Submit a portfolio of your previous design works.
  - Attend an interview if required by the department.
- General Requirements:Satisfy all other requirements set by the School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS).
