Programme Outline
Duration: This programme runs for 2 semesters
Entry requirements
The
programme is open to candidates with:
(a) Bachelor’s
(honours) degree in Education from any recognised University; or
(b) Bachelor’s
degrees in any other discipline and must possess either Postgraduate Diploma in
Education (PGDE) or the Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling (PGD
G&C)
Fees
To be admitted into the University
of Lagos's Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling (Full Time), you
generally need a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least a
Second Class (Upper Division), a minimum CGPA of
3.503.50

for those with a postgraduate
diploma, or a relevant postgraduate diploma with a CGPA of

or higher. In addition, you must
have the required O'Level credits in five subjects, including English Language
and Mathematics, and the NYSC certificate or an exemption.
