Duration
This programme runs for 2 semesters
Entry requirements
The programme is open to candidates with:
(a) Bachelor’s (honours) degree in any of the fields of Biological, Social and Natural Sciences such as Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Psychology, Sociology, Engineering, Biochemistry, Physiology and other Basic Medical and Health Sciences from the University of Lagos or any other recognised University.
(b) Candidates must have a minimum of three years post-graduation work experience in relevant fields.

For applicants coming in at year 1
Year 1
(1) The programme is open to candidates who possess a first degree from the University of Lagos or any other recognized university in any of the fields of biological, social and natural sciences such as medicine, nursing, pharmacy, psychology, sociology, engineering, biochemistry, physiology and other basic medical and health sciences. (2) Candidates must have completed the National Youth Service Corps programme (or obtained exemption from doing so). (3) Candidates must have a minimum of three years’ work experience in a relevant field. Candidates will be required to go through a selection process

To be admitted into the Master of Science in Public Health (General Public Health Option) at the University of Lagos, you must have a first degree from a recognized university in a relevant field, have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program or an exemption, and possess a minimum of three years of relevant work experience. Candidates will also need to undergo a selection process.
Academic requirements
A first degree from the University of Lagos or another recognized university in a relevant field, such as:
Biological, social, or natural sciences
Medicine, nursing, or pharmacy
Psychology, sociology, or engineering
Other fields like physiology or basic medical and health sciences
Professional and experience requirements
Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program or a valid exemption
A minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a related field
Selection process
Candidates must undergo a selection process, which may include written and/or oral examinations
